On Monday, February 9th, the Stanford Undergraduate Global Health Club (UGHC) will be hosting their Winter Mapathon, a collaborative mapping event that creates urgently needed data for at-risk communities around the world. Join them from 6-8PM in Branner Earth Sciences Library or on Zoom to mapping a high-priority global health project. They will also be joined by Jerico Bajador, an epidemiologist at the WHO Philippines, and Olumide Ogungbemi, a global health geospatial analyst, who will highlight how mapping advances public health. No prior experience is needed, so come ready to learn and contribute while supporting under-resourced communities. The event is open to all Stanford affiliates, and dinner will be provided.
